Wheaton is a long time admirer of color theory and the emotions brought about by hue placement and treatment.  PEZ candy dispensers caught her eye several years ago with their vast color gamut of stem choices and whimsical plastic toppers.  

Her PEZ collection consists of 2000+ of these brightly colored and cheerful toys. Wheaton is particularly drawn to the PEZ with human characteristics. Her intrigue began when she first came across the Wounded Soldier; a stern faced man with bloodied bandage wrapped around his head. This seemed an interesting choice for a candy company novelty.

The representation of various occupations such as nurse, pilot, plumber and fireman all make PEZ accessible and familiar to all ages.
